Raxton Farm - Haddo Estate The 49kW bio-box was designed to heat four dwellings on the site. The houses are to be connected via a mini-district heating system incorporating heat exchangers at each property. Each house tenant will be charged for their heat use via individual heat meters with remote readouts. Currently only one house is complete and connected, therefore the use of a temporary buffer vessel was necessary. The boiler uses wood chip from forestry on the Estate.
